Meet Rachel

Rachel Burchell is a compassionate and highly qualified Clinical Psychologist offering personalised, evidence-based therapy for adults at all stages of life.
 
With a diverse professional background across private practice, hospital settings, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) support services, Rachel brings both clinical expertise and real-world insight to her work.

Rachel is also a Board-approved supervisor for psychologists.

Rachel uses a variety of research-backed therapeutic modalities to support her clients in achieving meaningful, lasting change. These include:

She is also a Registered Circle of Security Parent Educator, integrating attachment-based approaches into her work with adults navigating parenting and relational challenges.​​

Bringing Real-World Experience to Clinical Practice

Before becoming a Clinical Psychologist, Rachel worked in technical and corporate leadership roles across Australia, the United States, and Asia. Originally trained as a Chemical Engineer, she later completed postgraduate studies in Business Management before transitioning into psychology.
 

This background provides Rachel with a strong understanding of the pressures associated with high-performance environments, career transitions, leadership responsibilities, and balancing professional demands with personal wellbeing. Her diverse professional experience also enables her to connect meaningfully with clients from a wide range of cultural, professional, and personal backgrounds.
