Clinical Psychology for adults across the lifespan

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends a fee of $311 for a session with a psychologist.

In the interest of making mental health care more accessible, True Insight Psychology provides services at a more affordable rate, ensuring clients receive high-quality support while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and care.

 

• Standard session fee: $250 for 50-minute session.

 

• Payment methods: Bank transfer, credit card, EFTPOS, cash.

 

• Cancellation policy: To ensure that all clients have access to timely appointments, True Insight Psychology enforces a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee.

Medicare rebates may be available with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, covering up to 10 sessions per year. Please consult with your GP to determine if this option is available to you. The current Medicare rebate for a 50-minute session with a clinical psychologist is $141.85.  Out of pocket fees are therefore $108.15 for a 50-minute session, for clients with a MHCP.

Private health fund rebates are also available, though the amount can vary significantly depending on your provider. We recommend checking with your health fund to confirm your coverage.
